MY STORY

My name is Courtney, I am grateful to be able to share my story with you,

I hit my rock bottom on April 9th, 2009.  I had been using methamphetamine, pills, and alcohol on and off since December of 2004.  However, upon reflection, my addiction started much earlier with Alcohol, Marijuana, and Men.  I had moments of clarity and sobriety but I could never make it stick.  My addiction cost me jobs, educational opportunities, friendships, trust with my family, every material possession I owned and even landed me in jail.

I certainly did not get clean on my own and I certainly did not stay clean without the help of 12 step, family, and friends.  Through my recovery, I have discovered that I can live life without the use of drugs and/or alcohol.  Not only have I found professional success, I have a happy and healthy family.  I am loved, loving and loveable.  Life is not perfect, but I can suit up and show up every day to be present for a life I never dreamed was possible.

With me, what you see is what you get.  I believe a genuine connection fosters the most change and love helping my clients find their passions.  Through my own experience as a woman in recovery, mom, wife and professional, I will partner with clients to create a new way to interact with the world around them, building on their inherent strengths thus becoming successful at whatever feeds their spirit.  I love to read and am a lifelong learner, always looking to grow.
